1. The Brief
Samsung was promoting the arrival of Netfiix in Australia so Samsung joint-ventured with Netfiix offering customers who bought a new Samsung TV, a 6-month, free Netflix subscription. The point of sale promotion included gate sensors, in-store posters, A5 tear pads, and electrostatic stickers. The campaign offering ran in JB HiFi, Bing Lee, and Harvey Norman stores nationwide.
2. Our proposition
Samsung wanted the webpage to be simple to use. This allowed Samsung customers to register their Samsung TV for the Netfiix offer on desktop or mobile devices. Additionally, we had to have the ability to upload the receipt for proof of purchase.
3. Sketches
Some sketches of the Samsung Netfiix Redemption pages were done by me. There are two pages to be produced: the first web page was for the information about the offerings while the second web page was a form where the user input their details and the ability to attach a photo of the receipt.
4. Prototyping & Final stage
We did not do any research for this particular job. Yet, we did do some testing with the Gadget Group and the Samsung staff. From the testing data and results, we came up with the approved design.
