1. The Brief
LG had already created a print catalogue for their TV range and wanted a mobile app to be available on Google Play and the App store. So, our role was to convert the existing catalogue and develop a mobile app from the criteria of the catalogue into an easy-to-use app for consumers.
2. Our proposition
We also wanted to add some media content such as videos, animations, and interactivity so consumers would have an enriching experience when they read the catalogue. The ability to include promotional videos, commercials, and ‘how-to‘ videos to any product page was important as well.
3. Sketches
We had a good foundation to work from by taking these designs and redesigned it from scratch. This gave us the capabilities to include TV commercials and how-to videos to any product page on the website.
4. Final stage
After extensive user testing, we released the mobile app on both Google Play and App store. The app was advertised on the LG website and was promoted in-store using a QR code.
